Local Conference of Students’ Research Society (SRS) in 2024/25 academic year | Students’ Research Society Faculty of Medicine

According to the decision of the Council of Students’ Research Society (SRS) in 2024/25 the medical and health science section of the local Conference of Students’ Research Society will be held between 5th of February, 2025 (Wednesday) and 7th of February, 2025 (Friday).
The deadline of electronic registration, abstract submission, and indication of selected category for the medical and health science section of the conference of Students’ Research Society is 6th of January, 2025 23:59h.
Figures and tables cannot be placed in the abstract. The abstract have to be confirmed by the SRS advisor.
All presentations will have to be uploaded not later than 11:59 hour, 3rd of February, 2025. You will not be able to upload your presentation directly to the computers in the lecture halls.
At the end of each presentation an Appendix slide must be included detailing the participation of each author in the presented work and also if the work required any (ethical, animal experimental…) permissions, than the numbers of that/those. Without this slide the presentation will not be scored and will not be accepted as a presentation of your thesis.
On-line presentation is only allowed for 6th year general medicine students, 5th year dentistry, or 5th year pharmacy students who will conduct their clinical practice outside of Hungary at the time of the SRS Conference and had already delivered at least one first authored SRS presentation on previous Conference(s).
According to the recommendation of the Council of SRS, please, consider the followings with regard to taking non-professional photos or videos at the local Conference of Students’ Research Society:
1. Outside the lecture rooms, at the conference venue, students are encouraged to take photos/videos.
2. Students should not make video recordings during the scientific sessions!
3. If it is necessary, students can take a photo of their fellow during the presentation/discussion while the title, acknowledgment, or appendix slide is projected.
4. Due to protection of intellectual property or other reasons, presenters or their supervisors may request the prohibition of photos/video recordings during registration or at the sessions.
