The rules for the preparation and evaluation of SRS research essays have been updated. From 1 September 2024, please prepare and upload your research essays to the electronic research essay system accordingly. A plagiarism declaration must also be attached to the research essay as a mandatory content element!The updated documents are available at the links below:

SRS research essay submission in 2025/26 academic year
SRS research essays may be submitted continuously between September 8, 2025 and May 17, 2026 via the website tdk.lib.unideb.hu.
Between May 18, 2026 and July 5, 2026, only the review of previously submitted essays will take place, no new submissions are accepted.
Betweer July 6, 2026 and September 7, 2026, SRS administration will be suspended.
ATTENTION! The average review time for SRS research essays in the past academic year was 54 days (IQR = 39-69 days), which we kindly ask you to consider when planning your submission timing! For GRADUATING students, we recommend submitting the SRS research essay (along with the signed cover page) no later than the following dates:

The SRS research essay must be submitted EXCLUSIVELY through the electronic submission system (http://tdk.lib.unideb.hu). After uploading, the electronically generated cover sheet must be printed out, signed by the Head of Department/Division, SRS advisor and supervisor(s) and then submitted to the SRS administrator (Zsuzsa Barta, Education Office 103) before the above deadlines. The submission is considered valid, and the review process starts ONLY once the signed cover sheet has been submitted.
