POSITION OF UNPAID UNDERGRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT (UTA) AND PONGRÁC ENDES SCHOLARSHIP
The Council of the Students’ Research Society (SRS) of the University of Debrecen, on behalf of the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy, invites applications for Unpaid Undergraduate Teaching Assistant (UTA) positions, the Pongrác Endes Scholarship, and the Pongrác Endes Advanced Scholarship for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. Applications must be submitted using the electronic form available after logging in to the e-learning platform (https://elearning.med.unideb.hu/course/view.php?id=3245). Technical information regarding uploading and approval procedures is also available on the platform.

Deadline for student submission: Monday, 28 September 2026, 9:00 a.m. After this deadline, the application form will no longer be editable.
The departmental SRS advisor must review the submitted applications on the e-learning platform. The advisor may either approve the application or provide comments, based on which the student may revise the application. Revisions are possible only until the student submission deadline.
Deadline for approval by departmental SRS advisors: Wednesday, 30 September 2026, 12:00 noon.
Requirements for Obtaining UTA Status: a minimum of 14 teaching hours during the semester, and an average scholarship index of at least 4.0, calculated based on the average of the previous two semesters.
For both categories of the Pongrác Endes Scholarship, the final decision regarding both the number of scholarships awarded and their amount will be made by the deans of the respective faculties.
OUTSTANDING RESEARCH WORK AWARD
The Council of the Students’ Research Society (SRS) of the University of Debrecen, on behalf of the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Health Sciences, invites applications for the Outstanding Research Work Award for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.
The complete application package must be submitted electronically to the following email address: admin.tdk@med.unideb.hu. The subject line of the email must be: Outstanding Research Work Award Application – [Applicant’s Name]
Verification of SRS presentations and SRS research papers does not require personal attendance. These will also be processed electronically. Applicants only need to submit the completed form (available at https://oetdk.unideb.hu/letoltheto-dokumentumok), without signatures.
The completed application form (available at https://oetdk.unideb.hu/kivalo-tudomanyos-munkaert-osztondij) must be signed by the student, then scanned or photographed in high quality, and sent by email together with all supporting documents certifying the achievements to: admin.tdk@med.unideb.hu.

Incomplete or incorrectly completed application forms will result in the application being declared invalid.
The award is open to any full member of the Students’ Research Society who has at least one accepted first-author SRS research paper, or
one first-author full-length (in extenso) scientific publication. Students receiving the National Higher Education Scholarship during the given academic year are not eligible for the Outstanding Research Work Award. For students receiving an advanced academic scholarship, the combined amount of the advanced academic scholarship and the Outstanding Research Work Award may not exceed the current semester amount of the National Higher Education Scholarship.
The submitted applications will be ranked by the Students’ Research Council, which will then make recommendations to the deans of the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Health Sciences. The final decision regarding both the number of awards granted, and the amount of each award will be made by the respective faculty deans.
